The title is Sorgfri (Swedish) translates as carefree. It’s not a word I hear everyday. 

The title is not a theme nor a concept that the artists in this exhibition have been confined to, it functions as a sort of decoration.

It also suggests that 

The idealization of carefree childishness has an important escapist function in a society marked by tragedies.

Organisé par Daniel Götesson (Ekta) et la galerie SLIKA, cette nouvelle exposition présente 7 artistes suédois.

Le titre « Sorgfri » en suédois, se traduit par insouciance. Ce n'est pas un mot que l’on entends tous les jours. Le titre n'est pas un thème ni un concept auquel les artistes de cette exposition se sont cantonnés, il fonctionne comme une sorte de décoration.

Il suggère également que l’idéalisation de l’insouciance enfantine a une fonction d'évasion importante dans une société marquée par les tragédies.
